Amy Kline
Physical Therapist Assistant
Amy has been a part of the Orthopedic & Spine Therapy team since 2000. Her arrival at a career in physical therapy stemmed from a desire to satisfy her interests in fitness and science. With physical therapy, she found a variation on both career fields.
Amy first started as a “substitute” physical therapist for the company, providing top quality physical therapy to patients on an as-needed basis. Her work was so good, she was offered a permanent staff position at Orthopedic & Spine Therapy of Poplar in 2005.
Amy earned an associate’s degree in applied science as a physical therapist assistant from Lake Superior College in 1997 and is currently completing coursework through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to joining OST, she was a physical therapist assistant for SMDC Outpatient Rehab in Duluth, Minnesota.
She enjoys treating all age groups and a myriad of conditions. “The more variety, the better. I enjoy educating patients about their condition and helping them feel better. It is always exciting to see patients begin to understand the healing process and how it affects their bodies,” she explained.
Amy and her husband Larry are proud parents of two children. The Wyoming native enjoys spending time with her family (including a granddaughter), weekends at their cabin, landscaping, and teaching Pilates, both in her community and for the Minnesota Ballet, for the past 3-1/2 years. They currently reside in the Solon Springs area.
