Frank Herbes
Physical Therapist Assistant
Through suffering many sports injuries and enduring rehab Frank knew that being a PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) would be something he would be good at. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from UW-LaCrosse and Associate of Applied Science degree from Anoka-Hennepin Technical/Community College. After more than seven years working at Rusk County Memorial Hospital, Herbes took the opportunity to work in the environment he has always desired here at Orthopedic & Spine Therapy in 2007.
Although Frank leans towards working with athletes because of his history, he really enjoys working with anyone who has the desire to improve their condition. He likes that everyone and everyday is different.
Herbes believes that the key to being a good PTA is "being able to listen to patients and relate to them in a way that they respond." What makes him a good PTA is that he is able to connect with most patients on a personal level.
Frank grew up in Upsala, MN, on a dairy farm 30 miles north of St. Cloud. He is married to Lori and they have two kids, Riley and Delaney. In his free time he enjoys coaching/playing sports and camping with family and friends.
