Kate Hepner
Physical Therapist
Kate joined Orthopedic & Spine Therapy of Ashland in 2008. The decision to become a Physical Therapist has been a rewarding one. "Growing up, I always had an interest in science. I was greatly influenced by my parents. They pushed for achievement in academics and provided a good example of diligent work ethics. As I approached college, I had an interest in natural sciences and in medical school. Eventually I decided that physical therapy best met my desire to serve others, not just to help others physically, but to improve their quality of life."
A native of Bayfield Wisconsin, Kate enjoys treating patients close to home. "My home is here. Good friends are here. I live and do my work where the streets, with the exception of Main, are not called by their names, where we literally say 'over by Tomlson's' and 'down by the high school'. There is no place I would rather be than home, serving friends and neighbors who I grew up with."
Kate graduated from the College of Saint Scholastica in 2004 with a degree in health sciences. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008.
