Meagan Peeters-Gebler
Physical Therapist
Meagan Peeters-Gebler enjoys wearing many hats in her work as a physical therapist. She states that physical therapy allows her to be a "teacher, student, coach, creative problem solver, counselor and caregiver, all while helping others understand their bodies so they can achieve long-term personal health and wellness."
After completing her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 2006, Meagan went on to work in a private practice setting and gained valuable experience in orthopedics, women's health, working with patients with disabilities, and elderly care. She also had the opportunity to work in aquatic therapy. It was during this time that she was able to pursue additional education in women's health, and developed a love for treating female athletes, the elderly, and working with pediatrics.
She has a special interest in Women's Health, manual physical therapy, orthopedics, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Her passions revolve around helping her patients "develop the understanding and confidence that keeps them healthy, moving, and doing all of the activities that they enjoy," and she takes careful effort to educate them on the anatomy, physiology, and science behind their therapy.
Meagan resides in Hortonville, WI with her husband Ryan. When not treating, she is an avid runner, and likes to bike, swim, and compete in triathlons and other endurance events. A proud moment includes competing in Ironman Wisconsin in 2009. Her two golden retrievers, Adler and Quivey, cheer her on from the sidelines and hold a special place in her heart.
