Kerry Lahti
Physical Therapist
Kerry joined Orthopedic & Spine Therapy in 2005. Her arrival at a career in physical therapy stemmed from an unfortunate need for physical therapy treatment as a child. Once interested in the field, a shadowing experience with a physical therapist confirmed her desire to become a PT.
The decision to join OST was an easy one. "I liked the company's emphasis on manual therapy, allowing the company to have the best physical therapists around. Best of all, the clinic is close to my home – no more long commutes to work!"
Lahti earned a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the College of St. Scholastica in 2000 and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the same school in 2001. She is currently completing coursework through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to joining OST, Kerry was a physical therapist at Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Kerry enjoys treating all age groups and a myriad of conditions. "I enjoy looking at the patient as a whole - not as just one part that needs treatment. Treating the patient as a whole is the best way to fully achieve wellness goals," she explained.
The Brainerd, Minnesota, native and her husband Steve stay busy raising two sons. When she gets a few moments to herself, she enjoys working out, scrapbooking, and spending time outdoors. They currently reside in the Oulu, Wisconsin, area.
