Scott Ziolkowski
Physical Therapist

As a high school senior in 1993 Scott tore a ligament in his knee during a football game and was exposed to physical therapy for the first time. Later that same year his grandfather suffered a stroke, and Scott saw a different side of the profession as he attended his grandfather's PT appoinments. After seeing both the orth/sports and the neuro sides of physical therapy, he knew it was for him.

Since graduating from Pacelli High School in 1993, Scott has also completed studies at UW - La Crosse (1997) and The College of St. Scholastica in Deluth, MN (2000) receiving a BS in biology with a minor in chemistry and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He is currently attending Concordia Unerversity Wisconsin in pursuit of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

When asked why he wanted to work at Orthopedic & Spine Therapy, Scott replied, "Outpatient orthopedics, especially spine, knees, and shoulders, is my favorite area of physical therapy. Working at OST allows me to see the types of patients that I really enjoy. Plus, I believe in high quality, cutting edge, research-based physical therapy techniques. In that regard, my treatment philosophy is a great fit with the vision/mision of OST." In addition, Scott says his favorite area to treat is the lumbar spine, finding it to be the most complex, the most challenging, and thus, the most rewarding part of the body to treat. He also believes that the key to being a good PT is "paying attention to the individual needs of the patient. Everybody is different."

The Stevens Point native is married to his wife Sarah and they have two children. Scott enjoys musky fishing, sports (football and baseball), canoeing, and playing with his kids
