Owner - Orthopedic & Spine Therapy
During my senior year in high school, my sociology class had a “Marriage Unit” as the students affectionately called it. My partner selected her career occupation in physical therapy. It was the first time I had heard of the field. I was going to be a doctor. After high school graduation, I forgot about being a doctor and went to Drake University, not having any idea of a major with the exception of running track and cross country. In the fall of my sophomore year, my mother called to tell me that I should look into the field of physical therapy, for she was seeing a physical therapist at the time. Like every good son, I transferred to Marquette University which had a PT program, and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 1983. Coincidentally, my sociology partner is now a doctor, while I am the physical therapist.
With the help of receiving a MBA from Cardinal Stritch College in 1988, I opened Spine Therapy Center in Green Bay in September 1990. Since then, the organization has grown by reputation and demand to place us in locations in Northeast and Northwest Wisconsin under the name Orthopedic & Spine Therapy.
Much of the success we have realized as a company is due to all those whom I am so privileged to work with. They work hard every day to live by the organization’s values, serve each customer, and devote time to improve their skills and techniques. As a therapist, I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and becoming a part of their recovery.
My spare time is lovingly filled with my wife, Diane, and my children, Benjamin and Samantha. Watching them participate in soccer, dance competitions, and musical concerts brings me smiles and joy. If there is any time left, I can be found reading, fishing, skiing, biking, golfing, running, watching movies, camping, or being active in Scouting.
