Catrina Pinkham

Occupational Therapist, MOT, OTR/L

With seven years of experience as an occupational therapist, Catrina specializes in treating conditions of the shoulder, arm, and hand. Her clinical background includes a wide range of diagnoses, particularly work-related injuries, peripheral neuropathies, and chronic pain. She has pursued advanced training in mobilization with movement, kinesiotaping, myofascial release, joint mobilization, and the neuroscience of chronic pain to provide comprehensive, evidence-informed care.

Catrina is certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and is passionate about helping patients understand the root cause of their symptoms. She believes that when patients understand why they are experiencing pain, they are better equipped to take an active role in their recovery and achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes. Her approach focuses on identifying how symptoms impact daily life and empowering patients with practical strategies, movement techniques, and activity modifications to restore function.

Her areas of interest include upper extremity conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathies, rotator cuff syndrome, and thoracic outlet syndrome. She utilizes a variety of treatment techniques including myofascial release, mobilization with movement, kinesiotaping, mirror therapy, postural education, and functional activity training.

Originally from Appleton, Catrina enjoys spending time outdoors on nature trails, reading, and being with her family. She is especially proud of her work serving Spanish-speaking patients with limited resources, helping many improve function and avoid surgery through conservative care.

Having previously been a patient at Orthopedic & Spine Therapy, Catrina is excited to now be part of the team and contribute to the same high level of care she once experienced firsthand.
