Charlene Schmidt

PT, DPT, LMT

Char Schmidt’s path to physical therapy began with an early interest in human anatomy, a high school injury, and a passion for helping others that never faded. After a decade in the restaurant industry, she pursued massage therapy at Blue Sky in Green Bay and discovered her true calling. With 10+ years of experience, Char specializes in therapeutic manual therapy utilizing skills developed through coursework in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, lymphatic massage, sports massage, the use of silicone cups and tools, and TMJ dysfunction treatment.

She works with patients of all ages—from infants to older adults—helping them manage pain, recover after surgery, and improve overall function. She has worked with patients only a few months old with torticollis, to patients over 100 years old with balance deficits.

Now, after pursuing her physical therapy degree, Char brings a whole-person approach to care, focusing on education, problem-solving, and personalized treatment.

Originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Char enjoys spending time with her daughter, visiting with friends and family, hiking, foraging, cooking, reading, creating and crafting. She lives by the motto: “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
